All photographs, texts and other content on this site are © Mirella Ricciardi / Vanishing Africa Ltd unless otherwise stated. No image may be reproduced, downloaded, redistributed or used in any form — including on social media, in print, or for AI training — without prior written permission. To license an image, use the licensing enquiry process.

Accounts are created when you sign in with your email address or place an order. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide. By creating an account you agree to receive occasional news from the archive; you can opt out at any time from your account page or via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. An order is accepted when payment succeeds and you receive our confirmation email. In the unlikely event of a pricing error or unavailable stock we may cancel and refund an order in full.

Shipping costs and destinations are set out in our shipping & returns policy. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are the recipient’s responsibility.

For most items you have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Fine art prints are produced to order for each collector and may therefore be exempt from the standard cancellation right; any print concern will nonetheless always be resolved with care — contact us and we will make it right. Limited edition prints are offered subject to edition availability. Edition numbers are allocated at the time of production. Certificates of authenticity accompany fine art prints where stated.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. The site is provided “as is” and we may amend or withdraw content at any time.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
